Green Stars
The Green Stars rating system is a new development for SSI. It's a two-phase process, whereby each school's reporting of all SSI components is compiled, and it is assigned a colour (red, orange, yellow or green) based on its score.
Over the following year, all schools have the opportunity to improve their ratings and work towards achieving the biggest number of green stars. The Green Stars rating ranges from five stars, awarded to the best performing schools, to one star, awarded to schools which has significant improvements to make.
