The Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi is a governmental agency established in 1996 to preserve Abu Dhabi’s natural heritage, protect our future winning environmental education programmes such as: the Enviro-Spellathon, Sustainable Schools Initiative, and Murshed – Youth Rangers Programme. Recently, we also launched e-Green, the first e-learning platform exclusively dedicated to the environmental sector.

Enviro-spellathon is an environmental education programme designed to support the school curriculum that was launched in 2001 and has been improving your children’s environmental literacy ever since! Over 1.8 million children have experienced Enviro-spellathon, and thousands of you have already reported a welcome transformation in your students’ values and attitudes towards the environment and sustainability.

The Enviro-spellathon app contains fun and educational information and activities tailor-made for students, opening up a new world of environmental awareness for students aged 4-14 and helping them to develop linguistic skills.
